Being recognized as the Best Native Instruments Dealer was a proud moment that validated our passion and commitment. Native Instruments was a brand that inspired creativity, and this award proved that DJs in Romania could now access the very best tools in the industry. For us, it wasn’t just about sales — it was about empowering thousands of artists to experiment, perform, and redefine their sound with world-class gear

The first DJ Bootcamp was a groundbreaking initiative that brought together beginners, rising talents, and established artists in one place. For several days, participants lived and breathed music, learned from mentors, and built lifelong connections. It was more than a camp. It was the start of a tradition that proved djsuperstore was not only a retailer, but also an educator and community builder.

Bringing the global Native Sessions concept to Romania for the very first time was a landmark moment. Together with Telekom, we created a stage where knowledge flowed freely between world-class professionals and local talent. DJs, producers, and music lovers gathered to learn, collaborate, and be inspired by new technologies and creative possibilities. It wasn’t just a workshop. It was proof that Romania’s electronic music scene was ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world.

Electric Castle was already rewriting the rules of what a music festival could be: bold, innovative, and unforgettable. Partnering with them allowed djsuperstore to bring our expertise, gear, and passion to one of Romania’s most iconic stages. From that point forward, we weren’t just supplying equipment; we were helping shape the festival experience for thousands of music lovers. This partnership cemented our role not only as a retailer, but as a true contributor to Romania’s electronic music culture.

Our Bucharest showroom was more than a place to buy equipment, it was an experience. Designed to inspire creativity, it blended technology, aesthetics, and atmosphere in a way that made DJs feel at home the moment they walked in. Being featured in an international magazine as the “Best Showroom Design” was a proud recognition that our vision resonated far beyond Romania. It proved that djsuperstore wasn’t just a retailer, but a trendsetter, placing our community on the global map

We believed that inspiration shouldn’t be limited to Bucharest. With DjSuperStore On Tour, we took the classroom on the road, traveling from city to city, setting up workshops, and giving aspiring DJs across Romania a chance to get hands-on with professional gear. It was the first national workshop tour of its kind, breaking barriers and connecting local communities through music. For many young DJs, this was their very first step into the world of professional performance, and we were proud to be the ones opening that door.

UNTOLD wasn’t just a festival, it was a phenomenon that put Romania at the center of the global electronic music map. Becoming an official partner meant that djsuperstore was part of that story, powering one of the world’s most spectacular stages with the gear, expertise, and passion that defined us. From backstage setups to artist support, our fingerprints were on the experience of thousands of festival-goers. With Cluj rising as a creative capital and home to some of the country’s most important festivals, opening a DjSuperStore location there was a natural step. More than just a shop, the Cluj store became a hub for local DJs and producers, a place to discover new technology, connect with fellow artists, and feel part of a bigger community. By bringing our experience closer to Transylvania, we helped fuel the energy of a region that was quickly becoming the beating heart of Romania’s electronic music scene.

2017 marked a turning point for DjSuperStore. By becoming the official distributor of some of the most respected names in the music industry — UDG, Akai, Denon, Numark, Rane, and Marantz — we raised the standard of what Romanian DJs and producers could access. This wasn’t just about adding products to our shelves; it was about giving artists in Romania the same tools used by professionals on the world’s biggest stages. It solidified DjSuperStore as the bridge between global innovation and the local scene, and strengthened our reputation as the go-to source for cutting-edge music technology.

For the first time, our impact crossed Romania’s borders. When DJs equipped and supported by DjSuperStore performed at Ultra Music Festival in Croatia, one of the world’s most iconic electronic music festivals, it was proof that our mission had gone global. Seeing our community represented on an international lineup was a proud moment, a signal that Romanian talent, powered by the tools and guidance we provided, could stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world.

Beyond selling gear, we wanted to showcase the artistry and stories behind it. With the Collectors and Performers series, we created intimate events where music lovers could meet the people shaping the culture. The Collectors celebrated those who preserved rare records, instruments, and pieces of DJ history, while The Performers spotlighted artists who pushed boundaries on stage. These events blended education, inspiration, and community, proving that DjSuperStore was not just about equipment, but about nurturing the entire creative ecosystem.

In 2018, we took a bold step beyond retail and education by launching Romania’s first music branding agency. The mission was clear: help brands communicate through music and connect authentically with their audiences. By bridging companies with the creative projects powered by DJs, producers, and performers, we proved that music is not just entertainment, it’s a universal language that builds identity, emotion, and community.
2019
By 2019, DjSuperStore had grown from a local retailer into the backbone of Romania’s festival culture. We became the trusted supplier for the country’s biggest and most iconic events. UNTOLD, Electric Castle, Neversea, SummerWell, Afterhills, and more. From main stages to underground tents, our gear and expertise powered unforgettable nights for hundreds of thousands of fans. Supplying these festivals wasn’t just logistics, it was about ensuring that every drop, every beat, and every performance reached the crowd in perfect harmony.
2021
We reimagined what a music store could be. With over 500 square meters of space, we built Romania’s first experiential music hub. A place where DJs, producers, and music lovers could do much more than shop. Inside, visitors could test the latest equipment in a hands-on showroom, grab a coffee with fellow artists, and even take DJ lessons in a space designed for learning and collaboration. It wasn’t just a store. it was a cultural hub, a meeting place, and a creative playground where ideas, friendships, and careers took shape.

We wanted every DJ, from beginners to professionals, to feel the thrill of performing on a world-class stage. With Book the Booth, we created Romania’s first festival-grade practice room, equipped with the same gear and sound systems used at the country’s biggest events. Any artist could step in, book their slot, and rehearse like they were playing for thousands of people. It wasn’t just a practice space. it was a confidence builder, a testing ground, and a dream come true for DJs eager to sharpen their craft in a truly professional environment.
2022
By 2022, we saw that artists needed more than talent and equipment to succeed.,they needed entrepreneurial skills to sustain their careers. That’s why we launched workshops designed to help DJs, producers, and performers think like business owners: learning about branding, contracts, promotion, and the realities of the music industry. These sessions gave artists the tools to turn passion into profession, empowering a new generation to not only create music but to build sustainable futures around it.
2023
In 2023, we extended our mission beyond DJs and festivals by creating DopeStudioSupply, a dedicated e-commerce platform for young music producers. Our goal was to empower the next generation of beatmakers with easy access to studio gear, software, and creative tools tailored to their needs. DopeStudioSupply wasn’t just a shop. it was a launchpad for rising producers, helping them turn bedroom ideas into professional tracks and giving them the confidence to share their sound with the world.
2023
Education had always been at the heart of our mission, and in 2023 we took it to the next level with the launch of the DJ Academy. More than just classes, the Academy became a structured learning environment where aspiring DJs could develop their skills step by step, from the basics of mixing to advanced techniques, stage performance, and industry know-how. Guided by professionals and supported by world-class equipment, students not only learned to play, but also to understand the culture, discipline, and creativity behind being a DJ.
2024
In 2024, we looked beyond the DJ booth and into the future of live entertainment. Together with Visa and Untold, we launched Untold Creators by Visa, a program dedicated to discovering and mentoring the next generation of festival makers. This initiative gave young visionaries the chance to learn from industry leaders, gain hands-on experience, and turn bold ideas into real festival projects. It wasn’t just about music — it was about shaping the culture, creativity, and experiences that define tomorrow’s festivals.
It was a place for dreamers. A space where creators found freedom, and where countless journeys began. Here, the first steps behind the decks became the first steps onto the world’s biggest stages. It was where friendships were born, collaborations took shape, and passions evolved into careers.
